I have had an upgraded Ancestry subscription for years. I tried the
newspaper collection because I thought I was missing out. For me, it was a
big waste of time and money. Whenever I did a search and there was a word
even remotely similar to what I was searching for, it showed a result. But
the result was never close to what I was searching. I decided to
unsubscribe as I didn't feel it was worth it. Maybe someone else can give
you their input.

Newspaper collection - access is much cheaper through Godfrey Memorial
Library (only 35 dollars a year.) Ancestry.com's newspaper collection is
from Newspaperarchive.com with limited access. If you go via Godfrey,
you get full access for a year.
