Hi Judy, Gene,

I've been away and have just checked the archives and read the messages. Wanadoo has too "o"s. His address should be ok. I've been checking this morning for the information he wants but can't find the connection with the names yet.

We have an Anna Groner (22) listed (Brides' index) as marrying Thedy Leopold (23) in 1881.
Jean and Pierre Cantero are both listed in the 1850 census living in ward 5 (Ancestry img.90) These are probably the same people.
Jean was 33 and Pierre, 23. There is another Jean aged 20 among others. Peter Mousty Canterou (42) is listed in the index as marrying Sarah Jane Lanfield in 1871, vol 2 p 107.

There is a John E. Canteron, 29 yrs, died 02/26/1894 vol 105 p 1044 that could be checked.

I will check the N.O. Bee and try Roger's address too on behalf of NOVA.
