Marlin,
I found a birth record in Southwest Louisiana Records for "Johnson, Gardner
Simon (Neville & Alberte Clark), b. 5 May 1869, VP Ch., v.2, p.75." VP Ch.
Is Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 708 East Main St., Ville Platte, LA 70586.
Records begin in 1854. Don't know if this is yours but I do know that the
French priest often misspelled names - gave them French spellings or
misunderstood the names.
Karen

Ben, Arabella is the only one that I know. She died 10-7-1910 and is buried
in the Addison-Johnson Cemetery in Evangeline Parish. Is there any marriage
records on line that may have Neville and Arabella in it? Thanks, Marlin
