“St. Paul's Evangelical Bible School” would have been
associated with what was apparently St. Paul’s Evangelical Church, located at the
corner of Eleonore and Patton Streets. This would have been about three blocks
from 5936 Annunciation Street. The pastor in 1928 was Albert Dettmann.
The church still exists today in the same location as St.
Paul’s United Church of Christ. See:

I have a Promotion Certificate, Primary Department, dated October 8, 1922 that I found in my mother’s things. The signature of the Pastor is hard to read, but it looks like “Theo Tillmanns.”
For the first 10 years of my mom’s life, the family rented a home at 5936 Annunciation Street, so I am sure this church must have been nearby, perhaps walking distance.
I would be grateful if I knew the name of the church and location(see subject line.)
