Hi:

Is or has anyone come across this name Keisel in their research. I am trying to find the parents of Jacob born about 1850 and Magdalena Keisel born about 1845. They resided in Orleans Parish, LA. I cannot find anything on this last name. Does anyone know where it originates from (what part of Germany)?
