I have no names, so this may not relate at all, but I had to respond just in
case about twenty or so years ago, my husbands grandmother (Mary Reeve Brown)
told me that her mother was Cajun born in La, went to Texas on a Wagon, she
described her as having jet black hair that hung to the ground, and she was
dark complexion I know, I had written all she said to me in a notebook and
have lost it, I have now started to track this family seriously and Texas is
where I will have to start, and a trip is planned there at Christmas, so I am
in hopes I will have names and dates when I return of at least some. His
grandmother has passed away now and I am told there is only one aunt that may
have some information. Mamie
