Richard Mikkelson Sr.
Services for Richard John Mikkelson Sr. will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in
the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Pineville. Burial will be in
Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Pineville.
Mikkelson, 66, of Alexandria died Sunday, March 7, 1999, in Department
of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Pineville.
He was retired after 21 years from the U.S. Air Force and retired from
Sears as an auto mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Mikkelson of Alexandria; three
sons, Richard Mikkelson of Baton Rouge and Daniel Mikkelson and James
Mikkelson, both of Alexandria; three brothers, Virgil Mikkelson and
David Mikkelson, both of West Salem, Wis., and Roger Mikkelson of
Onalaska, Wis.; two sisters, Beverly Nelson of West Salem, Wis., and
Judy Irving of Denver, Colo.; 14 grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
