Caroline G. Pitts

Services for Caroline Gaston Reed Pitts will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First
United Methodist Church, Alexandria. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial
Park, Pineville, under direction of John Kramer & Son.

Mrs. Pitts, 90, of Alexandria died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, in her
residence.

She was a member of the Rapides Parish School Board from 1954 to 1966. She
was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons, George Hardy Pitts Jr. of Wyckoff, N.J., Dr.
Lawrence H. Pitts of San Francisco, Calif., and William R. Pitts of New
Orleans; one sister, Helen Wells of Enterprize, Fla.; and five
grandchildren.
