In today's Alexandria Town Talk there was an obituary for a Mr. Lawson who
was listed as a native of Glenmora. His services are to be held at Long Leaf
Baptist Church with burial in the Rougeau cemetary.
My husband was born here in Glenmora nearly 66 years ago and has lived here
his entire life except for his time in college and a brief stint in the U.S.
Navy. I have lived here for nearly 53 years and neither one of us was
familiar with this Mr. Lawson or his children. Since the burial is to be in
the Rougeau cemetary we figure that he must be a descendant of Robert W.
Lawson who was a son-in-law to Severin Rougeau and Florentine DuPercude.
This is also my husband's line so we are interested in finding out about his
"cousin" that we knew nothing about. Can anybody out there help us? TIA.
