Surname: Masling, mazelin
-------------------------
Carpenter's, now Carpenter, LA. is just west of Delhi and George Masling
lived there with his wife and sons, Walter and Frank. Could Louis be another
child that we do not know of?
Who was his dad?
George was buried in Delhi in the yellow fever grave in 1878, as Mazelin,
a misspelling that eluded previous inquiries.
Walter and Frank lived in Monroe. Walter was my grandpa; 2711 Lee Ave.
BuBoth are buried there. Old City Cemetery, family plot. I am going to
go ther e after I run down what happened in Carpenter's Station about 1878,
where the family went, displaced, etc.
mysteries to look into.
I feel we are connected.
Let me know what you find.
I shall do the same.
Thanks,
Joel Blue
