Hello, listmates!

I have also posted this to the Vernon Parish list and to the LA list, so I
apologize for any duplicates you may get. I have written a request to the
Parish Clerk in Many for a copy of the marriage record of my grandparents,
Evie McMillan and Shelby Cyler Young. They were married in 1929, and I know
that it exists and has a record number, #118.

Now, my question is this: It isn't county clerk, it's a parish clerk, but
in either case, I don't know who to make out the check to. Does anyone out
there know who I should write out the check to? I thought there might be
someone out there who has done this before and who could clue me in to the
right thing to do.
