Subject: [LASABINE-L] 1850 Sabine Census
Date: Thu, 1 Apr 1999 20:47:15 EST

Many thanks to Kathy Casagranda for allowing the 1850 Census from her book to
be put into the Sabine LaGenWeb Archives. Census records are a very valuable
tool in researching and we appreciate all of her hard work!! There are 168
pages of the 1850 census. There is only a partial listing now on line. More
pages will be uploaded each week as they are done until all 168 pages are
online.

PLEASE NOTE:
Names are recorded as they were found on the census records exactly how the
enumorater spelled them. The names may or may not be like they were ever
spelled again.
