Hi Diane, Haven't been working on the genealogy stuff lately. But noticed your message today. You are looking for the names of Anthony Schmaltz's father and mother? There was an Anthony Schmaltz, Jr., born Julyy 22, 1886, who was married to Elfreida Von Wolf. His father was Anthony J. Schmaltz, Sr. married to Elizabeth Foss and they also lived in New Orleans, LA. I havent found much info on them yet, but know they had at least 3 children: Anthony, Jr., Benny, and Louisa (who married a John Burger). How are you related to these? I am still researching to find out birth and death dates, children, etc. My father-in-law is William C. Schmaltz, son of Anthony, Jr. He is now 81 years old with little memory of his grandparents, Anthony and Elizabeth. But he did remember that uncle and aunt. I'm not sure where to look other than on Census and Louisiana Directories, as I'm new at this. If you have ony other info that would help me, I would appreciate it. Thanks for your m!
