Hello, all! I'm new to the list and hoping someone can help me (or at least point me in a better direction).
I'm looking for a DUHON family:
In the 1880 census of St. James, LA I found:
Duhon, Vital (widow) age 30 b. TN Black
Septime age 12 b.LA Black
Victoria age 10 b. LA Black
Augustin age 7 b. LA Black
Augustine age 6 b. LA Black

I also found a record for a Victoria Duhon Johnson died 3-15-1923 St. James, LA age 52. I think this is "my" Victoria...

Am most interested in finding Vitale Duhon's date of death and husband's name...

The family connects through son Augustin Duhon.
