Now the fun part
The priest was JB Le Saichere who died before 1889. I assume he & his
brother Marie-Angel also a priest adopted a foundling & gave him their
name. Who knows? Terrebonne life lines v 15 no 3 p 159-160

Hello Everyone,
I am searching for the burial place of Marie Louise (Braud)
LeSaicherre/LeShaicherre. She was born Nov. 21, 1870 in Union, St.
James
Parish, LA and died
in childbirth on July 8, 1900 in Plattenville, Assumption Parish, LA.
It is
believed she might be buried in Assumption Catholic Cemetery in
Plattenville
but there is no marker for her or her baby. Does someone have a
record of
the burials in this cemetery?
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Shirley Burks
