The Acadians:
Landry, Richard, Bergeron, Lalonde, Doucet, Guillory, Fontenot, Savoie,
Leger, Prejean, Martin, Commeaux, Brasseux, Dugas, Thibodeaux, Carrier,
Lavergne, Trahan, Prudhomme

Danish: Johnson(Jeansonne)

Unidentified origin:
Quebedeaux, Moreau, Saizan (all Spanish?), and Edmond(Aymond)

And probably a couple of dozen more that I forgot to include. This is my
husband's family, with Louisiana origins in St.John Parish, but St.Landry
Parish residents since the 1790's. I would be glad to share any information
I have, and welcome any corrections or additions.
