My name is Laurence Hotard. I noticed in the gendex that you seem to have
information on my family name. I know very little.

I was born and raised in Columbus, Ga. My father was not from there. His
name was Joseph Leslie Hotard, and was born in Gross Tete, La. His father's
name, I believe was
William T., and before him Foster _?_.

Is there already a concise study of the Hotard family. I have noticed an
entry of a source that the name changed about 1700 in France from Autard.

Please set me in the right direction.
