Hi all,
have a dilemma

Received an email from Lawrence F. Becnel "Bec" Jr. , the grandson of
Telesmar Becnel. I was thrilled to hear from him because what I have on his
family is sparse. He said that his great-grandfather was Thomas Telesmar
Becnel.
He states:
"Paw Paw Becnel is indeed the son of Thomas Telesmar, also known as Papere
Thomas."
How can that be? Thomas Telesmar Becnel died 02/03/1878 and Telesmar J.
Becnel was born 10/16/1886. Is there a generation in between? Is there
another set of Telesmar Becnels out there?

Could it be that Thomas Telesmar Becnel's son Thomas (child 4 above) was a
Thomas Telesmar Becnel who was the father of Telesmar J. Becnel?
Any other ideas?
