Eli Faurault La Villebeuvre married Jeanne Roman, December 20, 1852 in
New Orleans, Orleans Parish, LA. He was the son of Jean Ursin La
Villebeuvre. (Is this the same person as Victor Farault La Villebeuvre?)

Mrs. Jean LaVillebeuvre (Eulalie Trepagnier), died December 19, 1848,
age 65.

Pierre Hypolite LaVillebeuvre died January 22 or 23, 1847, age 25.

Thomas Placide LaVillebeuvre died Augsut 3, 1846, age 28.

Ida Marie LaVillebeuvre married Michel Lezin Armant Becnel, March 30,
1910 in New Orleans, LA.

Sep 1965 possibly in Biloxi, MS, married Lolitte La Villebeuvre or
Villebeune, October 16, 1907 in New Orleans, LA, born February 19, 1884,
daughter of Jean Placid La Villebeuvre or Villebeune and Blanche Marie
Gamotis.

His brother Thomas Horace Stevenson, known as Harley, born April 29,
1873, IN or OH, died August 19, 1920 Saranac Lake, NY, of Malone, NY,
buried there, married Jessie Edith McCreedy, August 7, 1912 in Malone,
NY, born October 4, 1884, died May 5, 1963, daughter of James Plunkett
McCreedy and Susan Hardy.
Their family is buried at Morningside Cemetery.

Frank Williamson Stevenson, born November 29, 1869 in Cincinnati, OH,
died October 13, 1909, married June 5, 1906 in Wyoming, OH, Laura
Estelle Duhme, born Nov. 7, 1880 in Newport, KY, died about May 13,
1960. Their family is buried at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH.

Kate Ashley Stevenson born July 26, 1871, died January 4, 1899 married
Ellis Pearson of Dillsboro, IN, July 10, 1898, born <if same> May 15,
1874, son of John Pearson and Elizabeth Abbott.

These are the four children of Gillette Vernor Stevenson, born October
28, 1840 Aurora, IN, died October 26, 1903 Cincinnati, OH, who married
Amelia Williamson, February 20, 1869 in Cincinnati, OH, born 12 Feb
1845/6 Mobile, AL, died 7 Apr 1905 Cincinnati, OH.

Article, "Descendants of Timothy Williamson" lists surnames DUHUNE and
LA VILLEBEUNE which I believe to be DUHME and LA VILLEBEUVRE which look

BECNEL, Lézin Armant, chemical engineer, was born on a plantation in St. John
parish, La., Dec. 13, 1861, son of Lézin Pierre and Christine Amélia (Armant)
Becnel, grandson of Lézin and Josephine (Lennen) Becnel, and great-grandson
of Lézin and Mathilde (Roussel) Becnel. His father, a sugar planter and an
officer in the Confederate army, was killed in the battle of Atlanta in 1864. He
attended the Jesuit College in New Orleans and took special courses at Tulane
University. Subsequently he was employed as sugar chemist and manager on the
Lone Star, Evan Hall and Ashton sugar plantations and as consultant on other
plantations during the grinding season. From 1903 to 1922 he was assistant
sugar examiner in the appraiser's office of the U.S. Industrial Alcohol Co.
Becnel conducted extensive research into the cost of manufacture of sugar and of
alcohol and contributed a number of papers to the transactions of scientific
societies. After the United States entered the first World war he served as a
member of a New Orleans draft board and was also employed in the U.S. secret
service there. He was a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers
(charter), American Chemical Society, Louisiana Engineering Society,
Louisiana Chemical Society, the B.P.O.E., and the Round Table and Chess, Checker and
Whist clubs of New Orleans. In religion he was a Roman Catholic and in
politics a Democrat. His hobbies were cabinet making and farming. He also found
recreation in card playing and fishing. He was married twice: (1) in New
Orleans, April 21, 1896, to Laura Armstrong, daughter of John Tilghman Nolan, of
Ascension parish, a planter, by whom he had three children: Dorothy Amelia, who
married Joe David Moss; Phyllis Nolan, and Laura McCall (died in infancy); his
first wife died in 1908; (2) in New Orleans, Mar. 30, 1910, to Ida Marie,
daughter of Élie Farrault de la Villebeuvre, a commission merchant and banker of
that city. His death occurred in New Orleans, La., Jan. 6, 1923.
