Thank you so very much for the information. You have given me information we did not have. Especially on Joseph Dumez. My grandmother talked of him many times as she grew up next door to him in Edgard. His obit describes him just as she described him to us.
I have a photograph of Williamina Bellow Dumez which was taken in 1863 in Paris. She had gone with her husband Eugene Dumez to France to settle his father's estate.. I have attached it to this message.
Also do you have any information besides census on Priscilla and Thomas. Thomas raised my g.g.grandfather Eugene Dumez Jr. and Pricilla "Taunte Ya" helped to rear my grandmother.
