I can't speak too intelligently about this family as the information I have
was given to me by someone else. But I'm showing only one marriage each for
David Simmons and Amelia Foreman on 24 Feb 1829. I'm showing David was born
1811 and Amelia 1814. So, the 1808 date is definitely a different David
Simmons. This David is the son of James Simmons, Jr. and Nancy Sullivan.
The 1808 date is in the SWLR - it's 26 Nov 1808, and is the marriage of
David D Simmons and Mary Cole. David D is the son of Charles Simmons and
Elizabeth Davis. This David D remarried Lucy Hayes on 3 Nov 1828. Lucy's
first husband was James D Reeves.
