Has anyone done any research on a Hickman family of St. Landry Parish?
I am seeking info on Lewis Dillahunt who married Martha E. Hickman in Opelousas in 1852.
She was the daughter of Gabriel Hickman and Mary?? Hook??? spelling illegible on document.
He was the brother of Amelia Delihunt wife of Martin Dunn also residents of St. Landry mid-1850s.
