Hi Charlotte,

My research in Terrebone Parish stems from my grandmother Ethelyn Catherine
Breaux, b 5 May 1900 in Theriot, LA. Her parents were James Monroe Breaux
and Alida Marie Bertaut.

My grandmother died in New Orleans in 1973 and her father James Monroe died
in New Orleans in 1911.

Her mother, Alida Marie Bertaut Breaux died between 1900 and 1903 prior to
my great grandfather moving to New Orleans, I believe. I would like to know
the place of burial for Alida Marie Bertaut Breaux.

Hopefully in the near future, I will be able to travel to Houma and Theriot
and do research.

I have been to Houma, years ago, and to Coqadrie (sp), but this was prior to
my interest in genealogical research.
