My GG Grandfather, Edward Nixon, was born in Washington Co. abt
1802. He married Margaret Doherty and they moved to Westmoreland Co.
abt 1830. Edward's parents were John Nixon and Margaret Crow.
I understand that one George Nixon (GG Grandfather of the late
president) was married in Washington Co. at about the same time that
Edwardwas born.
Does anyone out there have additional info that might help me out?
