PLEASE HELP!!!
We returned from our KY "search for our roots" with a few more questions
than we had when we left home!
My great grandmother, Judith Ann Dyer, was married previous to the
marriage on Nov. 10, 1885 to Richard Anderson Brisby. (Henderson Co)
This was a fairly new twist to our tree limb.
We checked the appropriate counties, Henderson, Union and some counties
in IL for marriage records, to no avail. The marriage Annie J.
Latta/R.A. Brisby was held at the home of Sandra Utley and witnessed by
Wm. Latta and Charles Doris. (This information is on the marriage bond
and license we just found.)
The Henderson Co census, 1860, shows her as "Juliann Dyer" age 1.
Records show her as Judith Ann Dyer, Annie J. Dyer and Juliann Dyer.
Family history spoke of her as Judith Ann.
Any information on the Latta, Dyer, Brisby or Kenney family in the area
of Union, Henderson Counties is greatly appreciated.
