Some friends sent me a newspaper from the Fresno area that tells about the
reprint of F.F. Latta's 1949 historical book on the tribes of the Yokuts
Indians. The title is "Handbook of Yokuts Indians". They printed only
1,000 books and only 200 were left available for sale at the time of the
article. At the price of $75. it must be quite a book. The publisher is
"Historical Press". If you are interested, you might contact a local
bookseller to see if any are still available.
