I received a request for information on behalf of Anne Campbell Latta,
whose father, grandfather and great-grandfather were named Peter LATTA.

Her father's brother went from Ayrshire, Scotland, to North Carolina to
build the tobacco plantations. She is a direct heir to the "Whisky
Latta" family.

Can anyone make heads or tails of this family and suggest a branch? Or
something?
