Dear Colleen, Dad tells me you were interested in the passenger
lists that are on the

Ellis Island Web Site. This url was originally posted by someone on
our rootsweb link.

When doing a name search for a variant spelling of LATTA, I used
"Lahtte" if I remember
correctly. Twenty variants of this spelling were generated , including
"LATTO".

So when trying this link you could try many of the variants as listed
in the latta genealogy
newsletter as not all will come up with the search parameters. You will
notice that when
youdo get several hits that on the left side you can choose to see more
info on the ship
that carried the individual over. As well their name will be
underlined and you can click
them and get the details about that particular crossing.
