Greetings!

Am Team Leader for CRAIG Team #8 on the CRAIG Family web site, and
as such have been engaged in an on-going effort for about four years
now in trying to trace as many descendants of "Our CRAIG Family" as
I might be able, down through about 1920 or so, for the benefit of
future generations of family researchers.

Have been a LATTA Mail List subscriber for only a few weeks now, if
my memory serves me, but it was only this morning that I was able to
locate the LATTA Family Organization's web site:

My thanks and appreciation go to all those responsible for making
this site available, and I do heartily commend them for all their
efforts!

Searching for leads as to the descendants of John LATTA who m. Lousia
CRAIG, 19 Oct. 1834, Maury Co., TN; and for the descendants of Moses
LATTA who m. Matilda CRAIG, 25 Sep 1827, Maury Co., TN, felt like I
had hit a gold mine. My thanks and congratulations to all those
responsible for the accounting that shows for Branch No. 31.

In closely reading through the accounting of Branch No. 31, I believe
that I may have come across an error, or at least an inconsistency, in
the reporting of the descendants of John LATTA and Lousia CRAIG, and would
very much like to make contact with anyone interested in these families,
to see if we might be able to reconcile the accounting for this family.

Would be more than happy to share what I currently know for the descendants
of John and Moses LATTA, who married Louisa and Matilda CRAIG respectively,
with anyone else researching these two families' descendants, in hopes that
together we might be able to make as complete and as accurate an accounting
for these two families' descendants, for the benefit of future generations
of family researchers. Am also more than happy to share what I know of the
ancestry for these two families' ancestry with anyone whose family might
descend through either of these two LATTA / CRAIG families.
