I don't know if there is a connection or not but my uncle ( a latta) died on
the operating table because his blood thined and he bled out, during a
prostate operation Marilyn

I need your help if you are able to. We are in touch with a geneticist who
is sure that we have some underlying problem which caused Charlottes death.
I know that Doug had asked you about family history in the past and I know
that a few things came back from that but I cant find the info. On top of
that I have been asked by the Proff who is helping us to widen
> the questions a little. What we need to know is if any Latta's have had
any cot deaths, blood disorders, trouble with carrying children to full
term. I can not stress how important this info is to the case. It may also
help to save another Latta a child in the future.

will help, even if at first it may not seem of use. This Proff will at the
very least be able to come up with some interesting stuff for the website on
the genetical make up of the Latta family tree.

Ellen and her cousin live thousands of miles apart, so I don't know how long
this will take.
> I sent you copies of all the replies that we got. It is OK for
you to contact them directly if you have their letters. What is the date of
the trial? Sometimes these cases are dropped at the last minute, but the
trouble with that is there is always suspicion lingering on. I hope it gets
resolved happily, and with finallity.

pursue our common geneality with him. I'm sure we will "hit it off".
