Hi! A long time ago Paul Calhoun told me that he set up the Latta-Org list so
that when the editor (Paul at that time) and the branch captains were
discussing administrative and financial details that we did not disturb those looking
for genealogy on the Latta -L list. After Paul's untimely passing, the
Latta-Org list has not been used much, if any. Many of the branch captains did not
have the chance to work with Paul, as they signed on after his death. So I
think that many of the branch captains are not even on the Latta-Org list.
As for what should happen to the Latta-Org list, I am not sure. I am not even
sure who is the list administrator. My understanding is that Ellen Taylor is
the list administrator for the list. Perhaps Ms. Taylor
knows more about that stuff.
