Hi Everyone,
I got so excited last night by my findings that I had to share my results with
the Latta list.

I found the missing link to my family in Branch 12. I will add this all when I
verify the details such as birth and deaths and get the resources together to do
the database justice.


This is how I think the link goes please feel free to email me any comments:

1. Robert Latta b: approx 1750. Killenny, Donagheady, County Tyrone Ireland
Branch 12

2. Samuel Latta, youngest Son of Robert b: approx 1770
inherited the land in Ireland when Robert died and lived in Ireland having
returned from America

3.John Latta Son of Samuel b: approx 1813 in Ireland
immigrated to Australia

4. William son of Samuel b: 1836 in Australia (the Ballarat district in
Victoria)

5. John son of William and Sarah b: 1856 in Australia m Grace Parker and had 12
children.

6. Robert (Bob)
7. Shaw
8. Gladys
9. Alice b: 1904 d: 1922
10. Thomas Charles Black (Charlie my Grandpa) b: 1904 D:1977

12.Helen (Tupp)....Celebrated her 90th birthday in 2001 in Warrnambool where the
family always lived and Mum and I were lucky enough to attend the party

6. Charlie Latta b: 1904 Nov m May Arnott 1936 d: 1977. May d: 1996

7. Marie Latta b: Aug 1939 lives in Melbourne Victoria m Ian Patterson 1960
-Jill Latta b:1946 lives in Melbourne m Donald Barker 1964

8. Belinda Peterson nee Patterson b: 1961to Marie Latta and Ian Patterson that's
me!
