Hello members and friends of the Ulster-Scots Society
of America!

I hope you have May 7th, 8th and 9th marked down in
your calendar because that is when the thrilling
Scots-Irish musical 'On Eagle's Wing' will premiere at
the
Gwinnette Arena in Atlanta, Ga. It is no exageration
to say that this will be an historic event. You will
clearly not want to miss it. I have provided below
show times and dates, more information on the musical
as well as a link for information on Gwinnette Arena.
I have also provided a link to ticketmaster so that
you can order your tickets for the musical (which you
will probably want to go ahead do if you haven't
already).

Here is where we could use your assistance. There
will be displays on hand in the lobby which depict
different key events in the history of the
Ulster-Scots (Scots-Irish). We as a Society have been
asked to "staff" the displays by having people on hand
to help explain the significance of the various
displays and answer people's questions. If you are
interested in helping out with this please let me know
which of the three performance dates you would be
available. It will be fun I guarantee it. You do not
have to be a member of the Society, just someone
enthusiastic about the Scots-Irish heritage (we will
talk to you about membership later :-)). Please feel
free to invite family and friends as well. Ideally we
would need a couple of individuals on hand by the
displays an hour before and an hour after the musical.
Here is the best part, we will have the opportunity
to hand out literature and membership applications for
our Society. This represents an unprecedented
opportunity to literally tell the world about the
Ulser-Scots Society of America. I look forward to
hearing from you and most of all I look forward to
seeing you at the musical. Please let me know two
things, one- if you plan to attend the musical and two
- if you are available, what dates you can help out
with staffing the Scots-Irish displays. The display
area will be the official "gathering point" so that
you can meet with other members and friends of the
Society. Thank you very much for your outstanding
support of the Society and the musical!
