Given the dates the Latta's appear in Nova Scotia, I suspect that they are
original from Scotland. I have yet to connect them with Branch 13 and given
we can account for John and his son's I would lean towards Scotland.

If I recall correctly, Peter Latta descends from the Nova Scotia Lattas.
Alex probably knows more about this than I. If he doesn't have more info, I
do have an address for Peter that is several years old. I have some other
information that I received from Peter as I recall. He would be the real
authority if he can be contact.
