I am looking for information of William Latta of Ayr Township in Bedford
County, PA. He is listed in the 1767, 1768, 1774, and 1775 tax list. This area
became Cumberland County later. There is also a John Latta, single freeman,
and Moses Latta, single freeman, listed in Peters Township for the 1768,
1769, 1770 taxes.

John Latta of Branch 17 shows up in the Brothers Valley Township of Bedford
Co. Taxes in 1772. I am wondering if he is the John Latta, single freeman
above. Would he and Moses be brothers? Sons of William? Does anyone have any
other information about this area at that time?

William Latta was listed as a Justice of Bedford Co. in 1774, and John Latta
was listed as a constable of Bedford Co. along the same time period.
