As this is my first post to the list, I thought that
I'd let everyone know which families I'm researching in
Union Parish (Litroe) and Union County (Huttig), AR:

BOYETT(E), EATMAN, KNOX, MARTIN, MITCHELL,BIBBY, SMEDLEY,
GATSON, WILSON, FERGUSON, BIRD, ATKINS, HENRY, LEE,
SHELBURN

I'm also interested in the following surnames:

WASSON, MCLEMORE, CARTER, POOLE, HENDERSON, GOODGER, SEHON

It appears that most of those bearing these surnames
arrived in Union Parish from Lauderdale County, MS and Marion Co, AL in
the 1840's and 1850's.
