Hi Catherine,
I descend from Isaac Jettun and Sarah Stansbury through Sarah's daughter Alice who married Ovelia Lee. Alice's sister Effie married Ovelia's brother Edgar (Aunt Effie and Uncle Eddie). My grandmother Sarah Lee (b. 1897 in Henry, LA was double first cousins to Effie and Eddie's kids. Family gatherings were huge in Henry.
Their daughter Doskie Lee and my grandma Sarah Lee remained lifelong friends through the 1980's even though they now lived thousands of miles apart in their later years. My grandma Sarah died in 1994 living until she was almost 97.
