I was born in Christian Co., IL, and my 2nd Great Grandmother was Mary Law and her father was John Law.
The Laws were from Ireland and settled around Harrison Co., OH. They married into my Simpson family. In 1857-58 the Simpsons, Laws, Gallaghers, Evans, McElroys?, McDivitts, Evans, Orr and other families moved from OH to Brown and Pike Co. IL. My grandmother was among them and is buried in Pike Co., IL. Some of the more closely related families moved later to Christian Co. IL. Therefore, I feel certain you are related to my Laws.
