Jim, welcome to the clan. Noble is a little far away from where my Simpson ancestors lived, but I see you are related. I just pulled out the 1872 land plat book for Christian County and see your Lana Reynolds owned the SW/4 of section 30, Locust Twp., Christian Co., IL. The SE/4 was owned by James Law. Both tracts were about one mile NW of the Buckeye Church, The widower of my Mary Law (Robert Simpson) lived 2 and 1/2 miles south of Lana. Elsie Reed, who wrote the first message is certain to be related also.
