Crystalwoman,

On the same 1880 Bastrop Co., TX census page as James A. BURRIS is the household of Phillip WADDLE & wife, Fanny [20 (b. 1860, Arkansas)], with mother-in-law, Salina BURRIS [65 (b. 1815, GA)] [Dwelling 312, Family 332].

On the 1870 census of Lamar Co., TX [Dw. & Fam. # 403] is Joseph N. BURROWS [26 (b. 1844, GA)] and 53 year old Salina, also born GA. James A. the third listed child below Salina. He is shown as 15 & b. LA. A Malissa F. [10, b. Ark] is next and may be the Fanny married to Phillip WADDLE of the 1880 census.

In 1860, in Union Co., AR [p. 197, Dw. 79, Fam. 84] is:

S. J. Burris 50 m w farmer South Carolina
S. F. ---"-- 45 f w ------ Georgia
Wm. J. W. "- 16 m w ------ ---"---
J. W. ---"-- 14 m w ------ Arkansas
C. C. ---"-- 12 f w ------ ---"----
Jonah E -"-- 10 m w ------ ---"----
James A. -"- -5 m w ------ ---"----
M. M. --"- 5/12 f w ------ ---"----

S. F. may be Salina. I hope this helps.
