Thomas A. CHEATHAM & Mistress Tabitha JACKSON, his wife, sell to Hiram
JACKSON all of his the said CHEATHAM's rights, being 1/3, to the
following described land, SW quarter of NE quarter, W1/2 of SE quarter
and NE quarter of SE quarter of section 24, and the SW quareter of NW
quarter of section 19, and the SE of SE quarter of section 24 of NW
quarter of SW quarter of 24, all in township 22 N of ranges 10 & 11 E
continued 249-87/100 "A". The sale is made and accepted for and in
consideration of the said JACKSON's assuming to pay the said CHEATHAM's
portion of 2 certain notes given by him and Andrew JACKSON at the time
of purchasing the above described land from Elijah M. TURNER, one for
$365.00 due 1st. March 1859 and one for $825.00 payable 1st. Feb. 1860,
both bearing 8% interest.
