Hi everyone,

First, I'd like to say how excited I am about this new listing. Annette
has done a super job getting it up and running! There are so many good
things happening in the Winn genealogical community right now. I feel
sorry for folks who AREN'T from Winn Parish!!!

I gave as the subject of this message "my introduction", but I feel as
if I know everyone already through the quarterly. But, Annette said we
needed to do this so here goes -- these are my Winn Parish families:

CHANDLER, RIFFE, DODSON, SULLIVAN, GRIFFIN, WALKER, CARPENTER, LOWE,
HENNIGAN. Some of these families were Winn pioneers (Griffin, Carpenter,
Walker) and others came in later years. I'd love to contact others
working on these families. Some of you I've already talked to and have
received some new leads and good help from. Thanks again to those.

I'd like to put in a plug for our quarterly, "Legacies & Legends of Winn
Parish" -- WE NEED YOUR STUFF!!! To date there has not been one Bible
Record submitted. Send me yours today (Peggy Beaubouef, Editor -- Winn

and your family Bible record could have the very distinct honor of being
the FIRST EVER PUBLISHED in our quarterly!!!
