Andrew R. Varnell
Services for Andrew R. Varnell, 49, of Winnfield were held at noon, Wednesday,
in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home with Rev. J. P. Miles officiating.
Burial was in Bolton-Teagle Cemetery.
Varnell died at 8 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 1985 in Humana Hospital.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Varnell of Winnfield; one son, Dustin Leon
Varnell of Winnfield; four daughters, Sherie Lynn Varnell of Texas, and donna
Renee Hattaway, Shiela Kay Rowell, and Andrea Lynn McDaniel, all of Winnfield;
two brothers, Mack Varnell, Jr., of Winnfield and Delton Varnell of Hammond;
and four grandchildren.
