E. P. Eagles

Edward Porter Eagles, 66, of Doyline died Friday, February 29, 1980 in
Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport after a long illness.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Doyline Baptist Church with the Rev.
Eddie Rhyme and the Rev. Lee Nunley officiating. Burial was in Point Chapel
Cemetery.

He was a native of Winn Parish.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Juanita Eagles of Doyline; two sons, Marlon
E. Eagles of Houston and Tommy Joe Eagles of Ruston; one daughter, Anita
Darbonne of Dixie Inn; two brothers, James Eagles of Springhill and Clifford
Eagles of Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. J. O. Wilson and Mrs. G. W.
Jenkins of Springhill; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
