Mrs. Anna B. Barton Buried At Sardis Saturday, Mar. 12
Mrs. Anna Bell Barton, 83, of Gilbert, La., died March 11, 1960, in a
Winnsboro clinic after a long illness. She was a native of Winn Parish and
was the sister of W. T. Collins of Rt. 1, Winnfield.
Funeral services were held at Gilbert March 12, with burial in Brown Cemetery,
Sardis.
Survivors include her husband, J. E. Barton, Gilbert; four sons, Morgan
Barton, Baton Rouge, Elmer Barton, Winnsboro, Johnnie Barton, Gilbert, Thomas
Barton, Gilbert; two daughters, Mrs. Warren Flowers, Gilbert, and Mrs. Harvey
McGlaughlin, Gilbert; 15 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two
brothers, R. F. Collins, Gilbert, and W. T. Collins, Rt. 1, Winnfield.
