W. B. Crain, Sikes, Dies August 30, Is Buried Sept. 1
W. B. Crain, 79, died late Tuesday in a Winnfield hospital after a long
illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sikes Pentecostal
Church with the Rev. Jack Jones and the Rev. E. E. Parker officiating.
Burial was in Wright Cemetery near Sikes under direction of Edmonds Funeral
Home.
Mr. Crain was a life long resident of Sikes and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Martha Crain of Sikes; three daughters, Mrs.
Lessie McGlothen and Mrs. Joyce Lindsay, both of Sikes, Mrs. Tressie Lindsay
of Grayson; a brother, John Crain, Winnsboro; a sister, Mrs. Florence Taylor,
also of Winnsboro, and nine grandchildren.
