Most of what I have has been included in a continuing article that started
in 1999 in Legacies & Legends of Winn Parish published by the Winn Genealogical
& Historical Association, Inc. The April 2000 issue is about the 3rd generation
of descendents from Washington Burgess Adams. My husband is descended from
Mary E. who married a Davis first and a Branch second. All four of her
children were by the Davis, none by the Branch. Also included in the article
is Washington Burgess Adams parent's information and his father's will
in South Carolina. Back issues for 1999 (which has the first 2 generations)
are $15 per set. Make check payable to WPGHA, P.O. Box 652, Winnfield,
LA 71483.... lots of other good Winn Parish stuff in there!
