Thanks to some information I got from Annette, I have learned that
Washington Burgess Adams married Alice Goff. Alice's father James L. GOFF
died in service during the Civil War, and her widowed mother, Columbia,
married William Henderson Smith abt. 1865, probably in Winn Parish. I am
seeking to hear from any descendants of Alice Goff. Thanks.........
