Subject: [LAWINN-L] Descendants of A.J. and Henry H. Kelly

I found the names A.J. Kelly and Henry H. Kelly in a Martin Riley
Kelly/Matilda Caroline Creamer Kelly bible inherited by Doris Bazar
Box of Montgomery from her grandmother, Maranda Angeline Kelly, late
resident of Winn. Maranda was married to Addison L. Bazar.

I suspect A.J. Kelly and Henry H. Kelly were my ggf's brothers. The
only data on these two men recorded in that bible are their death
dates: April 18, 1861 for A. J. Kelly and December 1, 1861 for Henry
H. Kelly. I suspect both men were killed in the Civil War.

Both men are listed in the 1860 La. Census, Winn Parish as follows:

A. J. Kelly was 23, born in Miss., married to Mary, 19, born in
Miss., no children.

Henry H. Kelly was 27, born in Ga., married to Nancy J., age 19, born
in Alabama. They had one daughter, Mary 1, age one, born in La.

Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has any data on any of these
individuals!

Many thanks,
Ramona Kelly
