>From the tax lists of Winn Parish 1864 I found a Mrs. Mary McCandlis in the 6th ward. I need to find any other records or information concerning this woman or her family. A Mary A. McCandless was in Marion Co TN and her children were in AL, OK/IT, and AR by this time with some of them and her unaccounted for in 1860.

She could have been at least part Cherokee/Delaware.
